Shift 7:00 pm to 7:00 am

Department Overview:
Telemetry unit. Very fast pace environment. Nurse to patient ratio is 1:5 on days and 1:6 on nights. Have monitor techs and 2 secretaries on the unit. 23 bed unit. Self scheduling.

Texas Health Harris Methodist Hospital Alliance is a 98-bed, full-service hospital offering acute care and wellness programs to communities in North Fort Worth, Keller, North Richland Hills, Haslet, Justin and surrounding areas.

The hospital provides numerous services, including emergency medicine, general and outpatient surgery – including an outpatient surgery center, women and infant's care – including a level III neonatal intensive care unit, radiology – including a women's imaging center, cardiac rehabilitation and therapy center, business health services, and wellness programs.

Required minimum education: BSN preferred. RNs hired after January, 2014, require completion of BSN within 3 years of start date. RNs hired within THR after December, 2016, require completion of BSN within 2 years of start date.

Required minimum experience: One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or acceptance into a THR residency program.

Highly prefer a minimum of 2 years' experience in a acute care setting. Current LTAC, rehab, or floor nursing is wanted. There is an every-other-weekend requirement and the unit does not guarantee set schedules.

Required license/certification: Current RN licensure or compact licensure recognized by the Texas Board of Nursing upon hire

Current AHA BLS training upon hire.

CPI - Crisis Prevention Intervention Training in first 60 days of employment required.
