Job description
Job description: Texas Health Resources Stephenville is looking for qualified candidates will possess the following to work PRN in the Emergency Room.:

Required minimum experience: One year experience as a clinical nurse, or completion of an RN residency program, or
acceptance into a THR residency program.

Graduate of a NLN (National League of Nursing) or CCNE (Commission on Collegiate Nursing Education) accredited nursing programs.

BSN completion required within 3 year of THR Hire date

Current RN license to practice in the state of Texas

Current AHA CPR/BCLS for Healthcare Providers upon hire, ACLS and PALS within 60 days of hire
ENPC and TNCC within 1 year of hire

Two years of current RN experience in ED preferred.

Working knowledge of anatomy, physiology, disease process, nursing interventions, clinical skills and psychosocial aspects of care.

She/he must demonstrate through critical thinking, the ability to apply the aforementioned knowledge
Additionally, positive interpersonal skills and ability to function in a fast paced environment are required
Patient's assessment and time management skills
Basic Computer skills

Hours/Schedule: PRN; shift could vary, weekends and some holidays required

Practices within the regulations of the Texas Nurse Practice Act. Serves as a role model, intra/interdisciplinary collaborator and coordinator for quality patient care.
