As Quality Manager, you will champion all quality improvement initiatives, in order to identify areas where improved performance may be needed, so that customer expectations continue to be met. Importantly, it will be your responsibility to ensure the cooperation of key managers in developing and maintaining their part of the quality management system. You will monitor systems for optimal functionality, and assess company performance against set goals and objectives. Moreover, your participation in developing future quality goals and targets within the organization’s strategic plan will be an essential part of this goal. All responsibilities you assume will point in the direction of creating an ongoing, customer-focused culture within the organization.
To qualify, you should hold a Bachelor’s degree in Engineering and two to five years of relevant quality assurance experience within a manufacturing environment. (Alternatively, you may have 7 to 10 years of progressively responsible, related experience, or a combination of education and experience.)
